1. Lake Bled
One of the best and most famous to place to visit in Slovenia is Lake Bled. Its is one of the most picturesque spot in Slovenia. There was a famous myth that Lake Bled was created by fairies. It’s not only the lake which make its famous, a 17th-century church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. It makes this place a major tourist attraction. Perched on a rock overlooking the lake is the iconic Bled Castle. It is one of the must see site in Slovenia
The best time to visit here is in April and May, usually gets crowed in summer. September is also a good time to visit to avoid crowed. I will recommend you 2-3 hours is good time to walk around and explore the beauty of this place. The Lake Bled Church on the island opening timing is from 9am to 4pm.
2. Postojna Cave
The Postojna cave is the second largest cave in this country. It is a karst cave system which is 24,340 m long. The cave were created by Pivka river, and one of the top tourism sites of the country. Take an unforgettable ride to this limestone cave. If you are fit then it’s will be fine for you because it 24 km long and 377ft (0.11 km) in depth. Still, no worry tourist guide will available for you.
The Best time to visit is in July to August, and it’s a peak time so you can find little crowed. It would take approximately 90 min. opening hours between 10 am to 4 pm.
3. Triglav National Park
Triglav National Park is the only national park in Slovenia. It’s centered on Mount Triglav, the highest peak in the Julian Alps, which follows the Soko River. You can do a lot of things like hiking, trekking, mountain climbing. Rent a bike and viewing the beautiful waterfall at Triglav National Park.
It is better to select spring season, which is considered the best time to visit. Weather will be pleasant, so you can explore the park more comfortably. It generally takes 3 days to visit park.
4. Soteska Vintgar
The Soteska Vintgar is a gorgeous gorge of about 1.6 km long located at Triglav National Park. Carved by the Radovna River, and it flows of Radovna valley. It is a beautiful pictureque scenery to have in Slovenia. Walking near to sum waterfall make it more worth to visit.
The best and peak time starts from July and August. Opening timing is from 8am to 6pm. Try to visit early to avoid crowed. It generally takes 2-3 hour to visit this wonderful place.
5. The Logar Valley
One of the most beautiful valley of Slovenia, located at the Kamnik Alps. This valley is surrounded by peaks reaching above 2000 metres has beautiful natural scenery to view. Walk on the roads of Logar valley, Hike to the Kamnik Saddle, visiting the Rinka waterfall and Sunset dinner at Penzion kmečka hiša Ojstrica would be a good experience to share with you friends.
The best time to visit is in summer, well for better experience and more enjoyment you have to spend 2 nights.

6. Double Ellipse Tower
Double Ellipse Tower wonderful piece of architecture is the symbolises the relationship of cultures. Viewing from the tower, climbing on the walls, bungee jumping, are some stuff that make the great tourist attraction in this area.
There is no perfect time to visit such a beautiful piece of architecture. It takes about 1-2 hours to visit depending upon your interest.
7. The Bohinj Lake
The Bohinj lake is located within the Bohinj Valley and it is the largest permanent lake in Slovenia covering about 318 hectares with Crystal clean water. 8. Soca River
It is a perfect place for holiday, this 138 km long crystal clean water river is one of the greatest tourist attraction of all time. Some bunch of activities that you can do in Soca River like swimming, rafting, canyon, hiking, and capturing the fishes too. It is the perfect spot to have a family holiday.
The best time to visit between July or August. You would need a day to explore and enjoy it comfortably.
9. Blejski Grad Bled Castle
Blejski Grad Bled Castle is one of the oldest castle, built in 1004 when the German king Henry II conferred the estate of Bled on Bishop Albuin of Brixen. Spectacular viewing from the castle and marvellous museum can make it worth to visit. It has 2 restaurants and an absolutely beautiful view over the lake. It is now a one of the most visited tourist attraction of Slovenia.
The best time to visit here is in April and May, usually gets crowed in summer. To avoid crowed, visit as early as possible. Opening hours between 10am to 6pm.
